  1. Hi Michael
My names Matthew Wellington and I’ve just finished 3 years at the University of Northampton. I have followed your writing for several years now and I love the variety of sports you cover. I was wondering if you had any advice for a young aspiring journalist? I would love to go into sports journalism one day and I just thought I’d try asking you for some advice.
Thankyou, keep up the great work and I look forward to next seasons Norwich City articles!

    • Thanks for that Matthew, good to hear.
Basically, flog yourself as much as possible, write as much on sport as possible and read what’s out there as well. That will help you improve and give you a platform to put to companies, websites and publications when opportunities arise.
Good luck and keep in touch.

  2. Hi Michael,
I came across your work while exploring the internet and would just like to wish you well in your career and I really do hope that Canaries can escape the dreaded drop! My own team is AFC Wimbledon, with my roots back at Plough Lane in 1978 when Dario Gradi was Dons’ manager. I also follow a lot of non-league football which I enjoy. I spent 30 years in local newspaper sports journalism. I hope to hear from you if possible please. Best wishes, David Groves

  3. I really enjoy listening to the podcasts, thank you. I like that this year you are breaking down long podcasts into more of a edited and directed and condensed delivery this year.

TY from California, I’m not poor, but very far from rich enough to travel to most F1 locations. Thanks for the coverage, and entertaining podcast.

I need to go to Rate this a 5, later.

    Good times
