How will the season end for the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg at Abu Dhabi?

The 2015 Formula One season is coming to an end and instead of talking about an exciting final race, everybody is already talking about next season.

Will Nico Rosberg challenge Lewis Hamilton? Will Ferrari challenge Mercedes? Will McLaren improve and provide Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button with the equipment they deserve?! And what engines will Red Bull end up running in 2016?!? So many questions.

So to make the final race that little bit more interesting, I have found some bets that will hopefully make us a little bit of money…

ONE – Although the recent statistics don’t look for good for Lewis Hamilton, I believe the champ will achieve pole position this weekend. Rosberg has had five poles in a row, while Lewis achieved 11 poles in the first 12 races. So Lewis must be due a pole soon and Abu Dhabi is a track he’s had a some success at, with two poles and two race wins since the track debuted on the F1 calendar in 2009.

Lewis Hamilton to qualify on pole position – Evens (Coral, Betfred, BetVictor and Ladbrokes)

TWO – The bet for Romain Grosjean to reach qualifying three last time in Brazil did not work out for us, but I have a feeling the Frenchman will want to sign off his career at the Enstone factory with a strong weekend. The current Lotus team may also have the boost of the Renault buy-out being confirmed this weekend. Romain’s average qualifying position this year is 9.56th – so I believe a top-10 position in qualifying is a strong possibility.

Romain Grosjean to reach qualifying three – 7/4 (Ladbrokes)

THREE – My third bet is for Pastor Maldonado to finish in the points this weekend, which may seem a bit risky but the Venezuelan has finished in the points in four of the last five races.

Pastor Maldonado to finish in the points – 2/1 (SkyBet)

Good luck and remember to bet responsibly.
