Sebastian Vettel will hope he can walk the walk in Monte Carlo – with the aid of a quick, issue-free Ferrari.

The F1 circus heads to the principality of Monaco for one of the most iconic motor races in the world.

Some grands prix can be boring and it is nearly impossible to overtake on the Monte Carlo track – and yet Monaco is an amazing race and stunning weekend, a part of F1 history that should always remain on the calendar. Formula One without Monaco would simply not be Formula One.

So with Monaco here once again, I have come up with some bets that in my opinion offer a little value. Take a look…

ONE – Lewis Hamilton had victory taken away from him last year at Monaco and will be desperate to stop Nico Rosberg’s winning streak on the street circuit. Before Mercedes made the crazy call to pit Hamilton last year, Rosberg could get nowhere near Hamilton’s pace and I also backed him on the preview podcast – so I’ve got to back him here as well.

Lewis Hamilton to win: 13/8 (Coral, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, SkyBet & Stan James)

TWO – Sebastian Vettel has not had the season he was dreaming of at the turn of the year, and to keep his slim chances of a championship challenge he needs a good weekend here. I don’t think he has the pace to win and he will need to keep an eye on the Red Bulls, but he was impressive last year at this track and has a great chance of a podium.

Sebastian Vettel to finish on the podium: 7/4 (Coral)

THREE – A slightly different option for my final bet, which is on the number of cars to finish the race. I’m going to bet on over 16.5 finishers – so 17 or more cars to come home. Last year there were only three DNFs and the average amount of non-finishers this season is four per race, so I’m hoping for a bit of reliability and no Mercedes crashing into each other!

Over 16.5 finishers: 11/10 (Bet365)

Good luck to us all and pleaseremember to bet responsibly.
